Do you sometimes get frustrated thinking:
- Why am I stuck?
- Why is this hard?
- Why am I not growing fast enough?
It’s time to stop that way of thinking!
Instead, recognize the fact that things don’t happen to you, they happen for you!
So have gratitude for what you already have and become fascinated by the process!
Take your time and realize that you’ll be bad before you’re good, good before you’re great, and great before you’re exceptional!
Bonus Question: Where will you be five years from now? Five years are going to pass by anyway. So focus on your personal development now, so you can take advantage of the benefits later!
Mindset Shift #1: What is Your Number 1 Initiative?
What’s happening in your life right now?
Are you doing everything in the most optimized way possible?
Ask yourself:
- “What is my #1 initiative for this year?”
This is a great clarity question because it will force you to look at your life and start to be more strategic about your business.
Because once you figure out your number 1 initiative (our recommendation would be to focus on getting your business to 6 figures), then you can focus only on that!
Mindset Shift #2: What is Your Number 1 Stressor?
This is the second super important question you need to ask yourself:
- “What is my number 1 stressor right now?”
Any time you start to recognize that a certain activity doesn’t bring you joy or zaps your energy, find a way to outsource it to someone else.
That will help you clear out the mental fog that puts you in a state of overwhelm where you’re spinning so many plates.
PRO Tip #1: Before you outsource your tasks, learn the fundamentals. You don’t need to be a lawyer, but you need to know a little bit about the law.
PRO Tip #2: Being overwhelmed is a choice. So whenever you start to feel overwhelmed, train yourself to recognize that you’re being emotional and do a brain dump. Write down everything and it will be miraculous. Why? Because you’re a professional problem-solver! So focus on solutions!
PRO Tip #3: Recognize which season of your life you’re in right now. If you have small children, perhaps now is the best time to stay home with them vs traveling the world, speaking on different stages.
Mindset Shift #3: What is Your Net Worth Goal Five Years Out?
How much money do you make right now per year? Write it down.
Now imagine that you made that every 30 days.
And what if you could 10x or even 50x your income?
We get excited about this conversation because that’s more than just rank advancing.
This is your net worth – that’s your financial freedom!
But you can’t create that freedom if you don’t help others achieve it as well! How amazing is that?
Mindset Shift #4: What Does Your Perfect Day Look Like?
This is the most important piece of the conversation.
Because it doesn’t matter how much money you make, it’s how you make your money.
But the problem with a lot of people is that once they start to achieve success, they get the high for a short period of time and they go on to the next goal.
Wanting more and more, and more – that’s the scarcity mentality that it’s all going to fall apart if they don’t keep working. So they never get to enjoy it. Their kids grow up with resentment, they end up in divorce court, and they end up having unhealthy relationships.
So what does your perfect day look like?
- How do you want to feel?
- What time do you wake up?
- What do you want to be doing and with whom?
Because at the end of the day, the ultimate goal should be just having happiness, joy, and fulfillment.
PRO Tip: There are 2 things you need for optimal happiness: Progress and Contribution!
Mindset Shift #5: Confidence
Do you struggle with confidence?
You’re not alone. Even people who are earning 6 and 7 figures are still struggling with it.
It’s the imposter syndrome.
In fact, there’s a statistic that men are more confident than competent, and women are more competent than confident.
So if your confidence is tied to your competence, you’re in trouble.
So what can you do?
- Know your number
- Write down 100 things you love about yourself
- Jot down this affirmation for yourself:
- “I believe in my ability to figure things out.”
That’s right! Your confidence should be rooted in your ability to figure things out!
Why?
Because everything is figure-outable!
