Sometimes you can help them with this and sometimes you can\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>If you can help them with this, it is important to understand why they&#8217;re negative in the first place and it could have something to do with how we&#8217;re approaching them.<\/p>\n<p>I know this sounds crazy, but take a minute and ask yourself, <i>\u201cIs there anything that I did to cause the negative reaction?\u201d<\/i>, <i>\u201dWas I presenting in a salesy way?\u201d<\/i> and <i>\u201cDo I have my prospects best interest at heart?\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>When you&#8217;re getting negativity from your prospects, re-evaluate the situation and ask yourself if there was anything you did to cause them to be negative.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it&#8217;s a simple tweak that we can make in our process.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it&#8217;s not us and there&#8217;s nothing that we could have done differently.<\/p>\n<p>And if you get a negative prospect, whether its justified or not, please please please make sure that you\u2019re always standing above the negativity and you\u2019re not stooping to their level. This is going to make you look more professional and it\u2019s also going to make them THINK!<\/p>\n<p>When your prospects are negative, they are expecting a REACTION from you. Don\u2019t give it to them. Diffuse the situation with a \u2018Take away\u2019 one-liner and don\u2019t give them any negativity back.<\/p>\n<p>Use this week\u2019s Freebie to counter their negativity, keep your posture, and stay positive.
