You might be wondering how you can connect with more people that you can share your opportunity with.<\/p>\n<p>Many people who are starting out in the profession believe that the only people they have to talk to are people they already know, but that\u2019s just not true. Believe it or not, there\u2019s actually <em>an unlimited number of people<\/em> out there for you to connect with. Finding new prospects is a skill that you can learn and get better at.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why I came up with <strong>5 Steps to Unlimited Prospects<\/strong> \u2013 so you\u2019ll never run out of people to talk to!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1 \u2013 Create an Active Candidate List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a list of literally every single person you have ever known. Family members, people you work with or have worked with, people you went to school with, neighbors, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2 \u2013 Constantly Expand Your List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The list is called \u201cactive\u201d because you will continually add to it. Every day you should add at least two people to your Active Candidate List \u2013\u00a0 you might meet people online, run into someone when you\u2019re walking the dog, someone might give you great service in a restaurant \u2013 you don\u2019t have to prospect them the moment you meet them. Just be authentic, build a connection and start a relationship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3 \u2013 Raise Your Awareness<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every single day there are opportunities to connect with new people and we don\u2019t even realize it. In order to break out of your small circle of family and friends you have to expand your mind and look for these opportunities. Train yourself to be on the lookout. Again, you don\u2019t have to talk to these people about your business right away, just initiate a relationship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"667\" height=\"667\" src=\"https:\/\/my.networkersjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/shutterstock_1768598579.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1744\" style=\"width:397px;height:auto\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Step 4 \u2013 Don\u2019t Prejudge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s so easy to automatically rule people out. You might think someone doesn\u2019t have enough money to join, or that they are already successful and won\u2019t be interested, or that they are too busy, but <em>you never know who might be looking for an opportunity<\/em>. Our job is to present our opportunity, not prejudge people.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5 \u2013 Network On Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Expand your horizons! Get out of your house! Join some new groups, volunteer, get connected with your local community.
