You can\u2019t afford to mow your lawn? What does that even mean?<\/p>\n

I was mentored by a few different billionaires throughout my Network Marketing career. I sought out my first mentor and asked him, \u201cHow do I become successful? I want to make a million dollars a year!\u201d My mentor said, \u201cTo make a million dollars a year you have to earn approximately $500 an hour<\/em>. Is there a task you can do in your business that will earn you $500 an hour over time?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

I realized that yes, in Network Marketing, there is.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If I\u2019m with a prospect and I\u2019m telling them my story, explaining the compensation plan, introducing them to the product and explaining what this opportunity has to offer<\/em>, then yes, in my experience, over time that work pays $500 an hour.<\/p>\n

So he explained that I should take every activity that I was doing that can be done by someone else and that does not pay $500 an hour <\/strong>and that won\u2019t jeopardize your family or values <\/strong>\u2013 and have someone else do it<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Why? Because then I would be free to spend all of my time doing the things that will earn me $500 an hour!\u00a0<\/p>\n

In other words, why would you spend your time doing minimum wage activities when you could earn $500 an hour!?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s say that minimum wage is $10.00 an hour and it takes one hour to mow your lawn. Every time you mow your lawn, you\u2019re losing $490! I thought I was saving money by mowing my lawn, but no, it was actually costing me money<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So take inventory on every single task in your life. For decades now, I have not done tasks for under $500 an hour unless it was something that I chose to do that helped the quality of my relationships.I focus my energy on the highest producing activity possible.<\/p>\n

I will admit that when I was just starting out in the Network Marketing Profession, I did not meet with enough prospects to make $500 per hour. But when I started spending all of my time talking to prospects about my opportunity instead of doing minimum wage activities, I DID start earning $500 per hour.<\/p>\n

I know doing this is going to be hard for some people. You\u2019ve been raised to do things for yourself, but understand that you are selling your life and potential on minimum wage activities. Do you want to take your time to help somebody else? Or mow your lawn? Do you want to help create a financial wall around your family that nobody can get to? Or mow your lawn? Do you want to be able to have an impact on somebody else\u2019s health, wealth and entrepreneurial dream? Or mow your lawn? The thief of opportunity is the average persons\u2019 to-do list<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pretty soon another day will have gone by, another week, another year! Use this principle to grow your business and grow as an entrepreneur. Don\u2019t sell yourself at minimum wage, because you\u2019re worth more!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
