I learned a lot during my time in the Network Marketing Profession. One of the most important things I learned was that the one thing you have to get used to is change.
Things are going to change a lot. In fact, things are going to change constantly, and many of these changes will be disappointing. So, if you don’t manage your expectations and learn to navigate change, you won’t be around for long.
Let me give you some examples of changes that may occur… your products or services may change. Your company may discontinue a product that you love or they may add a product that you don’t like. There will be people who join your organization and then quit. There will be people who join your organization and then decide to go to another company. They might even take some of your people with them. Your company might let you down in some way. Your upline might leave and never call you again. Your compensation plan might change. The CEO you love might leave your company and you might get a new CEO that you don’t like.
And guess what… you’re just going to have to deal with it.
These are simply some of the realities of our profession. We seem to think that the rules of the rest of the world don’t apply to Network Marketing, that we can join a company and stay with it for the rest of our lives and nothing will ever change. But take a look around. Think about any company and how many changes it has gone through over the years.
So what is the key to navigating change in Network Marketing?
Stop resisting. Stop complaining. Embrace change and adapt. First, adapt yourself, then help your organization and even your company adapt.

And the more times you adapt to a big change, the easier it will be the next time.
