    3 Crucial Mistakes Almost Every Network Marketing Leader Makes

    I’ve been in network marketing for 2 decades now, and it’s been quite a ride. Lots of lessons and wake up calls, thanks to which I am where I am today.

    I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly:

    Leaders hitting a home run, while others are counting their chickens before hatch and dying in the water.

    I still see leaders making mistakes consistently—and it’s driving me crazy.

    But not you. 

    You’re ready to put your shoulder to the wheel and crush it, mistake-free.

    Before I share the mistakes with you, let me tell you something about my team and I. We build mostly on social media. We don’t:

    • do three-way calls, home parties or meetings
    • buy and hand out inventory
    • sample products.

    Why I’m telling you this?

    Because social media is about leveraging curiosity marketing and attraction marketing strategies. Which is what you should be doing at the moment!

    In this training, I’m sharing the 3 most common mistakes network marketing leaders make and why you should avoid them.

    (PS: Those of you building a team, this is going to help you out a lot.)

    3 Crucial Mistakes Almost Every Network Marketing Leader Makes

    #1. Treating Your Downline Like Employees

    There are lots of myths going around about the network marketing industry. 

    But here’s something everyone should know:

    This profession attracts independent people. 

    The last thing they want is a boss: someone telling them what to do or how they should do it. They’re looking for a mentor, a leader—and someone who is willing to be in the trenches with them.

    #2. Not Providing Enough Support 

    Your number one goal as a network marketer is to help your people make money. You should help them rank advance, especially in their first 30 to 90 days, so they stay motivated.

    If there’s one powerful lesson I learned over the years, is that leaders need to provide more support. Teach your people everything you know. Show them how to recruit… how simple it really is.

    That’s not all. You have to look at it from all angles. 

    Some of the people you’re currently working with won’t make it in the long-term. That’s okay. But they might know a Nadya Melton, a Ray Higdon, an Eric Worre—a.k.a. a potential superstar who you could bring to the team.

    Long story short:

    Offering more support will help you and your business in the long run.

    #3. Not Making Your Business Home for Everyone to Win

    Not everyone wants to be a millionaire—or believes it’s possible. 

    Whether the people you work with want to make a few hundred bucks or a million bucks, your job is to support everyone’s goal.

    When I first started in this industry, I thought to myself, “$10,000 a month…I can’t even imagine it. That’s all I need.” And then years later, it was, “What if I could make $50,000?” And so on, until I built a multi-million dollar business. 

    But not everybody is like me. That was my lesson.

    Once I started to make more money, I understood my team was also making more money. I started to think, “I need to make hundreds of thousands a month because I’ve got people in my downline making $100,000 a month….and $50,000 a month, and $10,000 a month.” 

    That’s when I started to think bigger, asking myself what could I do to impact more humans.

    This is the BONUS MISTAKE: Not thinking bigger about how much you can really earn.

    Let me tell you something: 

    It’s not about you.

    It’s about the other people in your organization and their financial opportunities. It’s not enough to have a personal vision; you need to envision what’s possible for others.

    Network marketing is all about other people.
