Master the Invite: The Key to Network Marketing

In the trenches of network marketing, there’s one skill that stands head and shoulders above the rest, one activity so crucial that it can make or break your success: the art of the invite. Yes, you heard me right. It’s not just about inviting; it’s about how effectively you do it. And here’s the kicker—it should be what you’re doing every single day. There’s nothing—absolutely nothing—more vital in your business than getting folks in front of information about your products or the incredible business opportunity you’ve got in your hands.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. The idea of inviting people day in and day out can send a shiver down your spine. Fear, hesitation, doubt… these are all too common feelings that hold too many of us back. But let’s get real here. Avoiding this essential activity is like trying to win a race with your feet tied. It’s not going to happen.

In my latest video, “How to Effectively Execute and Invite,” I lay it all out on the line. I talk about the stark difference between a pathetic invite and a powerful one. Let me paint you a picture.

Imagine an invite that’s drenched in hesitation, delivered with a voice that’s as inspiring as a wet mop. It screams, “I’m not really into this, but you might want to check it out… maybe?” Now, tell me, would you be interested? Didn’t think so. This kind of approach is a surefire way to get your invite lost in the noise, forgotten before it even had a chance to make an impact.

But then, there’s the invite that’s alive, crackling with energy, passion, and conviction. When you invite someone with genuine excitement, lighting up at the mere thought of what you’re offering, it does something remarkable. It sparks curiosity. It draws people in. They can’t help but wonder, “What’s got them so fired up? I’ve got to see this for myself.” And just like that, you’ve got them. They’re not just willing; they’re eager to see what you’re all about.

The message here is crystal clear. Enthusiasm, excitement, and conviction aren’t just the icing on the cake—they’re the whole darn bakery when it comes to inviting. They transform your invites from mere suggestions into compelling, can’t-miss opportunities.

So, here’s my challenge to you: Start infusing your invites with the kind of energy and passion you’d want to see in someone introducing you to a life-changing opportunity. Because, at the end of the day, that’s exactly what you’re doing. You’re not just sharing a product or a business; you’re offering a doorway to new possibilities.

Remember, in network marketing, your success is directly tied to your ability to communicate the value of what you have. And it all starts with that invite. Make it count. Make it powerful. Make it so damn exciting that they can’t help but say, “Tell me more.”

If you’re struggling with WHAT to say during all that fire and enthusiasm…I’d encourage you to get the updated version of my Little Black Book of Scripts (the top selling script book in network marketing).

I re-wrote the entire thing a couple months ago and turned it into The Definitive Guide to Compelling Conversations and Scripts in Network Marketing.

Until next time, keep it real, and keep inviting.
